We recently uploaded an article introducing the latest aero program from Vorsteiner, The Vorsteiner Audi R8 VRS Aero Program. We were looking for an Australian based Audi R8 to work a partial sponsorship with in order to fit the full aero program. Here is the finished result.
The guys at Heasman Steering and Suspension came to us with a long term customer of theirs whom had just picked up his brand new Audi R8. The customer wished to give the R8 that aggressive edge over the already aggressive factory lines and angles.
The Vorsteiner Audi R8 VRS Aero Program was the perfect solution. The Vorsteiner kit is a kit of class, not over the top like a lot of other aero programs but still enough to give it that noticeable edge over the factory aero. What we would consider the ultimate aero program for a vehicle in the R8's class.
The customer wanted to switch up the wheels from the factory multi spokes to something of a simpler spoke design showing off the huge factory fitted brakes. As a result we settled on the Vorsteiner VSF-001's in a triple bronze finish. The Vorsteiner VRS-001's are an American made fully forged wheel. They have a very distinctive and aggressive design with pocketing and sharp lines that accentuate the huge amount of concave achieved in the rears of the R8 fitment.
The VSF-001's were opted for in a 20x9 ( Front ) | 21x11 ( Rear ) with a huge pair of 305's to suit!
The Vorsteiner Audi R8 VRS Aero Program consists of 3 components that have been construction in the highest quality Carbon Fibre. Using Pre-Preg Autoclaved 2x2 Carbon Fibre. The beauty of Vorsteiner aero programs is that they require no cutting or additional modifications to fit and work seamlessly with all factory mounting points. A lot of aero programs / carbon fibre kits require additional cutting or modifications. Meaning if the customer ever wishes to revert their vehicle back to factory for resale or whatever it may be. This can be a bit of a nightmare and headache. This of the many beauties of Vorsteiner Aero Programs.
